Leadership
Dr. Zhuang Dan

Chairman of the Board

Dr. Zhuang Dan is a distinguished leader in the optical fiber communications industry and currently serves as Chairman, Executive Director, and President of Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC). He is also a deputy to the 13th Hubei Provincial People's Congress.

 

Dr. Zhuang earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Wuhan University in 1992 and 1995, respectively. He completed his doctorate at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in 1998 and obtained a postdoctoral certificate from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2001.

 

In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Zhuang is a recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance and has been honored as an Outstanding Entrepreneur in China's optical fiber communications industry and a Model Worker of Wuhan City.

 

Dr. Zhuang has served as Chairman of the Company since August 2022, bringing extensive experience and strategic leadership to guide its growth.

Jinkuan Tang (Tom)

President and CEO

Tom Tang holds a master’s degree in Physical Electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He brings extensive experience in engineering, product management, and executive leadership.

 

Tom began his career at VIA Technologies (China) Co., Ltd., where he held roles as a Hardware System Engineer, Manager, and Product Line Director. He then joined EverPro Technologies Co., Ltd.,  where he served as Executive Deputy President, later as President, and subsequently as President of its operatin entity.

 

Concurrently, Tom held key positions at Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC), serving as General Manager of the Optical Module Product Line and Deputy General Manager of the Diversified Business Unit.

 

Since August 2022, Tom has served on the Company's Board of Directors. In January 2024, he was appointed President of the Company, a role in which he continues to drive innovation and strategic growth.

Rongrong Zhou (Christine)

Deputy General Manager

Christine Zhou holds a master's degree and is a Senior Economist (Professorial Level). She has extensive experience in human resources and organizational management.

 

She previously served as a civil servant at the Commercial Bureau of Jinchang District, Suzhou City. She later held human resources management positions at Black & Decker (Suzhou) Power Tools Co., Ltd., Andrew (China) Communications Equipment Co., Ltd., and Wyeth Whitehall (Suzhou) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

 

She also served as Human Resources Director at SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd., American Standard Sanitary Ware Asia Pacific Integrated Supply Chain, Tyco Electronics Global Automotive Business Unit Asia Pacific, and Ningbo Huaxiang Electronics Co., Ltd.

 

In 2017, she joined Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC) as Human Resources Director. Since October 2023, Christine has served as the Company's Deputy General Manager.

Kok Thye Peh (Cathay)

Chief Financial Officer

Cathay Peh holds a bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Accounting from Middlesex University in the United Kingdom.

 

Cathay is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He began his career as a Senior Tax Consultant at KPMG Malaysia and later served as a Senior Investment Analyst at Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Co., Ltd. He subsequently held Chief Financial Officer of Yangtze Optics Africa (YOA) Cable (Pty) Ltd. and Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.

 

Since June 2020, Cathay has served as Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of EverPro Technologies Co., Ltd. In November 2024, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

2025

·The company was officially renamed EverProX.
·The Chengdu production base began operations.
·The Company deepened industry-academia-research collaboration with Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), establishing the “EverProX Scholarship,” “EverProX Scholars” program, and dedicated student internship and practical training bases.
·The Company was named one of the Top 10 Most Competitive Enterprises in China's Optical Components and Auxiliary Equipment Sector — the seventh time it has received this honor.

2024

·Broadex and EverPro completed their merger and integration.
·The Integrated Circuit Research Institute was inaugurated.
·The full-featured Type-C active optical cable (AOC) won the Excellent Quality Award on the ICC Xunshi Optical Communication Industry Hero List.

2023

·The EverPro Hanchuan production base began operations.
·Phase II of the EverPro Indonesia production base began operations.
·Broadex received the National May 1 Labor Certificate.

2022

·Broadex completed a share transfer and a change in corporate control, with YOFC becoming its controlling shareholder.
·Broadex was selected as a National Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative “Little Giant” Enterprise.
·YOFC’s optical transceiver business was integrated into EverPro.
·EverPro acquired Silicon Line, a German chip design firm, now EverProX Germany.
·EverPro was recognized as a National Manufacturing Single Champion Product Enterprise by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
·Phase I of the EverPro Indonesia production base began operations.

2021

·EverPro completed its conversion to a joint-stock company, raising nearly RMB 600 million through Series A, Series B, and Series B+ financing rounds.
·Broadex was ranked among the Top 50 Chinese Listed Companies by Growth Potential by Securities Times.
·Broadex was recognized as a Zhejiang Provincial “Hidden Champion” Enterprise.

2020

·YOFC Smart Interconnect and its structured cabling business were integrated into EverPro.

2018

·Broadex acquired Chengdu Dipo Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. (now EverProX Chengdu).
